I shared with a friend of mine about my girlfriend who had passed away from our house fire. I was blown away one day when my friend called me and said she was telling Sherry about the fire and Sherry said to ask me “what about the earring and the pink roses?” I had not shared this with my friend but the only item left from the fire was a small box with a pair of earrings given to my late girlfriend by her mother. I kept one earring and had given one to her mother. Also pink roses were her favorite flowers, pink roses are tattooed on my hand, and I also had planted pink roses in honor of my girlfriend’s death.
